I am happy to report that I have snagged a position at the University of Georgia in the realm of Information Security. So glad to be out of the corporate world. Great people, pay and benefits. And located, of course, in Athens, GA.

Konfabulous! [Tuesday, November 09, 2004]
Lately I've been having fun with Konfabulator, a groovy little tool now out for Windows which adds little "widgets" to your desktop. I recommend it, if you don't go overboard. Here's a snap of my desktop for a sample of the smoofness. The goodness is in the bottom right of the screen. I just thought I would share.

This is all rather weak right now, but I hope it will be more enjoyable as I rotate the items to encourage more regular traffit. Check back soon for a better implementation.

I came across some old code of mine to replace the boring directory display of folders.It displays an icon, the "age" of the file and breaks down tera, giga, mega and kilobytes for readability. The intent of this is to permit sharing of files with clients. Check it out if curious.
