This is intended to be a companion to my resume and therefore should not be redundant.
This is an incomplete list; displaying a sampling of some of my accomplishments and finished deliverables.
Regardless, it should provide a general idea of where my skills may be applicable for your needs.
Also, most of these reflect a graphics pursuit, but hopefully some of the links can sufficiently demonstrate my work on the backend of sites and systems,
including coding, database interfacing, and administration.
Deployed the Internet Commerce Information Systems web site for public use as well as
the Core CORBA Framework which facilitates communication between java developers utilizing CORBA.
Collaborative design which won the 1997 International Association of Business Communicators Golden Flame Award
for the category of
Best of Electronic Communication.
The only aspect of this site I worked on was the administration and display of their
calendar database.
impropaganda.net
Lastly, there was a humor site I ran since April 1, 1985 and have since stopped hosting.
I had won numerous awards Cool Site of the Day, Yahoo's Pick of the Week, The Net's Gold Page Award, Dynamite Site of the Night, DisInfo, HotWired's Surf-de-jour, also receiving mention in ArtForum magazine, PC Computing magazine, PC Magazine's The Top 1000 Web Pages, and The Net Magazine.
Clicking the logos on the image below will call up the review of the site, if it is still available online.
[more to come...]
Desktop Publishing, Prepress Production
I've designed CD covers for a few local bands needing sophisticated branding and packaging of their content.
Due to copyright issues I am not displaying their packaging, but instead a simple musical mix I created using my cat (Lincoln) as a theme.
Combining Desktop Publishing/Prepress Production with 3D Rendering
The following is a spec which combines prepress as well as renderng the object in 3D space.
Packaging for a box was produced in QuarkXPress and before it went to press, I provided the client with a rendered spec of what
the finished product would look like for his approval.
3D Rendering
The following are a few 3D rendered objects that I have created for clients or as lessons/experiments.
Be warned: With the exception of the McRae logo, the animations are rather bland rotations. But alas, the customer is always right.
While these are relatively small animations intended for web sites, rendering can also produce
animations for use with other media, such as broadcast television, CD-ROM titles, VRML and more.
Commercial Design
What follows are a few book covers I designed for a friend/publisher of rather esoteric titles regarding conspiracy theory and UFO/occult lore.
Clicking the image will link to Amazon's web site, permitting much more detail on the book.
Vector Graphics/Flash/LiveMotion
The following link provides a simple demonstration of a vector animation I created.
Please note that the links are not operational.
I will be adding more as time permits.
